What is Scrappy Appliqué®?

Scrappy appliqué is a fun & simple raw-edge appliqué quilting technique developed by Shannon Brinkley. Using fusibles, you collage scrap fabric to create a unique, mosaic appearance in the appliqué piece.

Current class offerings:

  • An engaging, interactive 1-hour program featuring a high-level overview of the Scrappy Appliqué technique, along with a trunk show showcasing a variety of quilts.
  • A hands-on workshop where students create their own Scrappy Appliqué projects. Flexible scheduling available—choose a full 6-hour session or split it into shorter segments to suit your needs.
